Sharp has announced the immediate availability of their much anticipated 2014 4K AQUOS Ultra HDTV’s, which were showcased at CES 2014. The 60-inch (LC-60UD27U) and 70-inch (LC-70UD27U) THX 4K Certified Ultra HDTVs won our “Best Ultra HDTV of 2014” Award. Both models are available today on Amazon for $2,297 and $2,999, respectively.

Samsung has officially announced availability for their 2014 Ultra HDTV lineup at a press conference held in the Guggenheim Museum in New York City (What is Ultra HD?). The company will offer something for everyone, including both curved and flat versions of their Ultra HDTV’s and Full HDTV’s in a variety of screen sizes. The TV’s will start shipping in the United States and Europe at the end of this month through various retailers. Read more to see the lineup.
